Grant Purpose
How do you inspire an appreciation of nature? How do you foster strong digital citizenry? With a broad community of learners, you can do both. Through this grant, our 2nd graders will develop an awareness of local and world-wide conservation issues as they collaborate with students in the district, other states, and other countries. This project-based study will enable students to collect, research, exchange, and evaluate data; then determine how to best persuade others to help take care of the Earth. Each child will come away with an enhanced sense of empowerment and civic responsibility.
